A free shuttle bus will be waiting at Kameoka Station for guests arriving via JR, facilitating seamless access to syoenso Hozugawatei. As you take in the lovely natural scenery along the ride, you’ll find that you’ve arrived at syoenso Hozugawatei in no time (approx. 15 min. ride from the station, reservation required).

After completing check-in procedures, you can go to your guest room to enjoy matcha powdered green tea and Japanese sweets in a laid-back atmosphere.

Relax and warm yourself after a long journey in ours natural hot spring baths, whose water is said to beautify the skin, help with recovery from fatigue, etc.

In the comfort of your room, savor our kaiseki multi-course cuisine made using numerous uniquely Japanese ingredients from the mountains and sea. Your conversation will grow increasingly lively as you enjoy these refined dishes.

Following a short after-dinner break, relax while receiving beauty treatment and enjoying our heated-rock sauna facilities. These outstanding treatments will put you in a state of pure bliss—it’s the least you deserve after working so hard every day!

Your group can have fun in one of our karaoke rooms without having to worry about others around you. Our upper-storey, dome-shaped lounge also offers a peaceful atmosphere in which to enjoy yourselves.

Start off the day by waking up a bit earlier than usual, enjoying a uniquely Kyoto-style breakfast, and discussing your sightseeing plans for the day. Sightseeing maps are available at the reception desk.

Check out a bit early and enjoy as many of Kyoto’s sightseeing destinations as you want, including Anaoji Temple (5 min. by car from the inn), the sightseeing train (30 min. by car from the inn) and more.
